I inherited a Wen Wet Stone Model 2900 sharpener from my father. I can't locate the manual. Does anyone have one that they can scan or fax to me?

Thanks!

Hello Ken,

I happened to read your post at SAWMILL CREEK just by chance somehow doing a Google Search for any replaceable parts for the (my) WEN model # 2900 that I'm currently selling. I was trying to see what anyone out there was charging for the plastic water reservoir if there even were any out there. I actually found some listed online, as well as with the micron filter that was on the original intake tubing set-up before I custom modified it.

My ad link and text can be found at the Craigslist link below:

You may find the ad text very very helpful, as I'm guessing you are having a problem with the water pump delivery part of your WEN 2900 such as I and many others out there had as well.

Seems there are a lot of these high quality 2900 sharpeners still out there in use, but many are failing due to this funky water pump flaw that is designed into this WEN 2900.

I solved the problem permanently on mine as my ad text states.

Right now I think I have a buyer up north for my WEN 2900, but still as of this day in time have not heard back from him yet as to his sending me a USPS MONEY ORDER for the sale of my 2900 that I'm selling for $35 plus the shipping charges, as my C/L ad states.

He last emailed me on FEB 29th 2008 saying he was going to be sending me out a payment for the purchase of my WEN 2900, and then silence as to nothing back from him when I sent him my mailing address - unless he is just another Craigslist scammer phishing for mailing info, etc - and there are many such people there at C/L let me tell you!

Be careful if you use C/L yourself as I'm not sure where it is you live.

Because I have the 2900 all packed up ready to ship out - as of last week FRI it would mean tearing everything open again just to get the original manual out.

What is the time and effort worth to you if I have to run out and make Xerox copies and all?

Let me know?

Thx,

Ken

Sorry Ken,

You waited too long.

My WEN 2900 is gone - as in sent on it's way to Steve in the Bay area that just bought it.

I never heard back from you - so I guess you are on your own.

Try contacting WEN directly and see if they can send you a photo-copy if they even have one.

I tried....
