Shop built Festool boom arm

Has anyone built a shop version of the festool boom arm, I would love to build something to go over my outfeed/assembly table area....:)

Any info would be great........

No, but only $400.00 buys ya one. Kind of ridiculous isn't it, a piece of aluminum tubing some hangers and vacuum hose sounds pretty simple to me.

I got a long shopvac hose, and bungeed it up to the wall over my MFT. Electrical taped an extension cord to it. Works fine... I keep thinking about a pole and some curtain rings, but never bothered...

I did the same as Eric. I bungeed a hose to my garage rafters so it hangs over my MFT. This doesnt offer mobility but works great for me in my small shop.

I will check over at FOG and see if I can find something there. For some reason I thought I remembered seeing a mod that a creeker made and could not find anything when searching the creek.
