Does anyone know the last version of Corel Draw that can be run in win98?

I have come across 2 older but in new condition uls 100 laser engravers.
The drivers are for win 98 only. My version of Corel x3 will not load in win98.

Thanks,

Will

I can tell you that 12 will not work under 98, 5 will. Don't know about those

I have an older Epilog Eclipse that will run with 98 and version 10 of CorelDraw.

I believe 11 is the last issue for win98.

Mike you are correct. Corel 11 is the last version compatable with Windows 98.

Corel 11 is what I used on Win 98. Thank goodness I don't have to do that any more.:o

Anyone know when the service pack to correct some of the tiny bugs in x4 is going to be available.. I have never had a crash with 12, but have had several with x4 .. I now hit save after every 5 min. or so just to save the hassle of redoing everything when it crashes.. Most of the crashes occur when doing text manipulation such as using the node mode handles to manipulate line spaces ..

Amie

Welcome to SMC. For those who don't know Amie, she is one of the most knowledgeable laser people around and has a long background in the engraving business.

She is also one of the people who made me glad I bought a Trotec laser the last time around.

Amie, we hope you'll find time to participate regularly.

Thanks for all the help. I have found a copy of Corel Draw * on ebay and it should be here today.

I also downloaded a trial ware file viewer called AB viewer. It lets you print right to the laser doing jpeg or bpm and alot of other files as well.
Doing my first raster on Granite as I type this no converting to 1 bit either just open the color bmp and send to laser.

Thanks Again,

Will

Thanks for the kind introduction Mike.

I am going to participate as often as possible. I am also encouraging more of my very knowledgable and experienced Trotec colleagues to participate and Trotec customers as well.
