I am hoping that someone out there who has an interest in military insignia might have the Welsh Guards emblem in an eps format or equivilant. I've had a good search on my usual areas on the net and can't seem to grab a good one. So if anyone does have it I would really appreciate it.

Frank there is a copy of the cap emblem here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Welsh_Guards

You may be able to do something about converting it to a .bmp and then enlarging and hand tracing...

Thanks guys, I have tried all of those, without success. Some of the stuff I have found is actually outdated (just how often does military insignia change... once every 100 years or something). Not to worry I'll keep trying.

Craig, I'm sorry, your suggesting is all tapped out I'm afraid.

Frank,

If I'd been back in the UK I'd have offered to go halves with you for the cd that they are selling... but I quickly looked through it...I'm ex Royal Corps of Signals and couldn't find a Jimmy anywhere...

Don't know why they left us off... Is it an up to date version or a listing of older emblems.

and you've changed your photo...are you getting older or younger...

Regards

Roy thanks very much for your input, I'm redoing the whole thing from what I had once before. It's all for a mate of mine who is ex-Guards. I'd get the CD but it's not worth it because of the very low requests for military stuff, somehow in this country 'our boys' don't get the acknowledgement that they fully deserve.

Greg, thanks very much, that will actually be very useful for me. I have just finished the crown and I was about to begin the outer wings and this will help get me there.

BTW Yes I did change the picture. I actually wanted to see just how big a picture I could get on line.... that was all it would accept. Unfortunately it's me just getting older. Dang I hate that!

Just kidding Frank! You know we all love you. If you didn't know before, just get people to tally up how many hours they have searched for this logo. I have personally spent about 1 hour looking for it, and I'm sure a lot of other people have as well. Would we do that if we didn't love you? :)

You help so many people with graphics and we're all trying to pay you back a little with this one, but it's a tough one for sure.

Thanks Steve I know. I appreciate it and I do understand humour quite well.
