T6 oil meets diesel and thus gasoline engine requirements. Yes it is better then needed by gas engines. Which do not face as high a pressures or temperatures.

Jim has it right. You have to make the conditions unfavorable for mold growth. That means air flow and lower humidity. It doesn't mean keeping it damp
