    About the CVT; I don't think it's going to be a problem. Before I bought the Nissan I checked out some of the owner forums. One guy from Canada did a lot of miles under arduous conditions and was concerned about the state of the CVT. Apparently the CVT has a computer chip that logs conditions and allocates a score for each cold start/hard accel/manual shift etc, and can be read by the dealer for service purposes. He had it checked and the score was way below a service requirement despite the hard use and harsh environment. I can't remember the figures, but his result seemed to indicate the motor would go out well before the CVT.
    I understand that if you abuse the CVT with burnouts it will overheat and go into 2nd gear only limp-home mode, but they seem to be pretty robust.
