What are your turning goals for the upcoming year?

Just thought I would start a discussion on what your goals are for the upcoming year. It could be skill improvement [which skills?] or production quotas [how many pieces you hope to accomplish] It could be sales goals...what are you shooting for? Me...related to skills, embellishment is on my radar. I want to do some work with carving, and perhaps some pyrography. I want to set a goal of at least 10 new projects each month. I want to do this to reach another goal, as I have had a new gallery opened to me, and I need to make sure I keep it and the other one stocked at all times...Also, I am going to be experimenting with some additional finishes.......that should be an interesting endeavor as well. My most immediate goal...get that new G0766 here and set up! That shipping delay from the factory to Grizzly industrial is a bummer, but I am hopeful it will not be extended too far out from original estimates!

For me priority is building my business back up and clearing a few back logged furniture projects. In terms of turning, it will be all about large bowls and exploring forms, which won't really happen until the G0766 arrives. Which I'm slowly accepting and I should be able to limp by with a simple spindle turning lathe for my Windsor projects. I have a few stools to make where I would turn the 14" seats, but I'll have to carve them instead.

I don't anticipate seeing the new lathe until June. I've been emailing with Grizzly CS, not terribly impressed at the moment, but I won't go into that on this thread.

So, turning goal this year is the large turning forms.
