I make occasional trips out to western PA to visit friends and family, and I realized that a stop in Muncy PA is only an additional 45 minutes out of my way, so I'll be stopping there.

    I may never leave!

I'm thinking of picking up (so far, God help my wallet) a drill chuck and taper, a 3/8" spindle gouge, and a 1/2" bowl gouge.

I'm wondering what else I should pick up for my G0766. I know I want to turn both some spindle and bowl shapes for presents before the end of this year. I've been looking at the four-jaw chucks, but I'm not sure what to get, and it seems that I should be able to just use the existing face plate.

That is on my to do list someday. I would like to just walk around and look at everything. I don't need to buy anything.

It's the biggest toy store, I mean tool store, there is! Grizzly's prices are highly competitive. They only can't beat Amazon, for example, on shipping charges. So, it's nice to be able to walk into the store and avoid that extra cost. Unfortunately, I have to pay Pennsylvania sales tax.

There's also a lot of other neat stuff to see there. There's a suit of armor, a carved grizzly bear, a grizzly bear in a small natural habitat model, and also these amazing giant turned vases. I mean they were huge, some of them were taller than me!

I'd love to do this myself some day. It has to be like spending a day in OZ. (Grin) I can just imagine the look on my wife's face when I get home with a truck load of toys.....
