My LED rpm readout is turnibg on and off from time to time. Nothing else is effected when it blinks off so I am guessing its
the LED it self. Anyone have and fix this issue. (I have not contacted Grizzly yet)

Steve has a good idea to check connections. From the manual, it appears that the display is plugged into the RPM readout board. If the connections aren't soldered, then I'd recommend exercising them (plug/un-plug) and gently tug each wire a little to make sure that the crimps are tight.

The most common causes of intermittent electronics is connections (screw terminals, connectors, etc.) and the integrity of solder joints (e.g., cold solder joints and "whiskers").

If your lathe is still under warranty, just call Griz and ask for a replacement. I looked at the parts cost and it is only $44. So, it isn't worth spending a tremendous amount of time trying to diagnose

If your rpm sensor has worked loose from vibration it might not be sensing in some positions which could cause it to blink at times. The sensor on my 0766 was loose when it arrived, and ai had to put it back in the bracket and tighten down the nut that holds it in. Just something you might want to check. The gap is about what the thickness of a business card is.
