I will be putting my new speedy 100 into service this weekend, looking forward to learning the new software ( job control). I haven't had a chance for any training so I'll be flying blind on startup. I have a lot of glasses and mugs to do on the rotary attachment, hoping it is as easy as the epilog. If any one out there has any recommendations or suggestions for me I'd be greatful for any help.

Still not much action here, oh well I'll update anyways.

The issues I have come across are with the rotary attachment.
It seems to be a little cumbersome, heavy and doesn't seem to be very stable on the table, (not square to the rulers) it moves all over the place when trying to install an item to engrave, the self centering cones don't seem to work very well and with items that are a little heavy (beer mug) the mug will move when rotated even when the vice is set at the tightest position. I do a lot of coffee mugs. beer mugs and travel mugs so it is important to get the rotary attachment working properly. my epilog worked virtually flawless for all my applications so the trotec rotary at this time is a disappointment to me. I'm new to trotec so I'm hoping this is just a newbie thing and it will all work out in the end.
If anyone out there has a rotary attachment and can give some insight to what I might be doing wrong please post.
    Thanks

Started having issues with the print driver, when I'd send a file to print, I clicked on preferences and everything would freeze. I had to shut it down using task manager and then restart my computer. This would usually get me back up and running. Finally it just quit working and I had to call support who then had to take control of my computer to find the problem. He managed to get things running again after locating some problem files and uninstalling then reinstalling CD. This happened twice. Then a new problem popped up. In the middle of restoring a small job the laser just stopped and all the lights and alarms went of, turned out to be a firmware malfunction. Tech support again connected to my computer and fixed it by uninstalling Job Control and then reinstalling it and updating the firmware from 10.2.0 to 10.3.0. there were problems right off the bat with the update so he reverted it back to 10.2.0 . Thinking it was all good the very first job I ran it quit again,

It's been a week now that I have been unable to use my brand new machine. The head programmer in Austria connected to my computer to try and figure it out but even he was unsuccessful.
I really thought I was buying a top notch laser but now I'm having my doubts, I should have stayed with an Epilog like my first one, I've had it for 5 yrs and it has never given me any troubles. Unlike the Trotec which has been a head ache from the start.
I hope they fix it soon or I'll send it back.
If anyone else has had issues with the Job Control firmware or the print drivers please let me know what was done to fix it.
    Thanks
