I think it would be great if members, especially the new ones, would post an introduction of themselves to the group and let us know what lathe you are using and what types of work you are doing with wood. We love the participation and welcome everyone to the GGMG!
New to forum and GGMG, I'm Steve Huffman from southeast Colorado, and also very new to turning. Bought a cheap lathe a year ago to play with in my shop (I didn't know what I was thinking or doing) and I must say, I'm having a blast! I didn't take lessons, but with some trial and error and a bunch of "youtube" videos, I managed to turn out a few pieces of shiny wood. I still have all my fingers as well! I did order the GO766 and will still be working the old lathe til the Green Monster arrives this spring. Looking forward to chatting with you all and hope to learn a thing or two here! I'm sure impressed by some of the work I see here. Amazing! Steve
