I didn't see a meeting schedule anywhere...can you point me in a direction?

BTW - I was at the Woodworking Show in Reading back in March...you would have liked it...there were a lot of turners there giving demo's, etc. It was a little more commercialized than I had hoped, but all in all it wasn't bad. I got to meet Chuck Bender from Acanthus Carver. He and I spoke quite a bit via Lumberjocks but never in person. Nice guy, incredible talent.

Now that you're done with the cradle, what's next on the list?

The meeting is tomorrow. The dates are usually handled through the yahoo group. Did you join that?

I went to the Tylersport Turning Fair the same day as the Reading show. It would have been cool to do both, but I couldn't do that to my wife. She was good enough to go with me to one. Chuck is a great guy. I took his stringing and inlay class at the Woodworking in America conference in the fall. Some day I'd like to take his spice box class and decorate it with line and berry.

I'm working (very slowly) on a shaker end table for the Wood Whisperer March Guild Build. I got far enough that my entry counted towards the contribution for the American Cancer Society. I'm the fifth picture:

We're in the process of selling our home and looking for a new one, so that's on hold for a bit. How about you? What are you working on?

Same project as before...cherry bar and cabinets for our basement. It's coming along pretty nice, but it's been very time consuming. the bar front is done and I have three base cabinets done (carcass and face frames only) for the buffet area, now I have to do the bar base cabs. I plan on taking a couple of days off this week to spray the bar front and begin working on the base cabinets.

I'll post a couple of pics when I can.

Good luck with the house...it's a very stressful time, but an exciting one at the sametime!

Cool, can't wait to see the pics. House hunting is extremely stressful as you say. We went to 8 open houses yesterday and they were frustratingly not for us. I dare say overpriced dogs. I'm unfortunately not going to make the meeting tomorrow. Have fun if you go!
