I may purchase the G 0766 this week. Anyone advise me not to? Any regrets from those that have this lathe, other than the short Banjo? And has anyone received the new banjo that has been promised?
I am tickled pink that I got my G0766. I would do it again in a heartbeat! Best value for a large featured lathe on the market! My unit really performs well. The larger banjo has not been released yet......manufacturing is in process, I think.
I love mine, it is the best value for a lathe that size.
I got mine about 2 months ago. Very happy with it. Powerful, smooth, quiet. You have to spend twice as much to get another brand of this size.
I love mine. And with the savings, allowed me to add a Woodcut Max Bowl Saver, 17" bandsaw and dust collection system. As well as a plethora of tools.
