Wile E. Coyote never had to wait this long for anything he ordered! Hu
Everything Wile.E. Coyote actually bought ended up hurting him in the end!
Your point? I knocked a four by twice twenty inches long off the lathe today! Hu
What were you turning, Hu.......a propellar? What lathe are you currently turning on? If it is something like the Harbor Freight lathe or a midi, then no doubt, this new G0766 will be a major step up in stability and performance! When it gets here, of course........getting closer to that time!
Roger, I am turning on the old cast iron Craftsman of worldwide fame, particularly for it's version of a Reeves drive. Built a solid wooden stand for it and the stand has about fourteen thirty-five pound concrete half pads built into it by design for ballast. I'm sure the stand is worth more than the lathe, especially if I throw in the concrete blocks! A chuckle, it is easier to get a government alphabet agency to admit something than to get Sears or the original manufacturer to admit this lathe exists! My brother just dropped several times what my first few cars cost new into one of the ZTR mowing machines to cut his seven acres. It's home is an open trailer right now. I'm turning standoff's to clamp onto the trailer and accept 1.5" heavy wall PVC to build a frame to tarp over the machine. His new shop is built but still needs electricity and security before moving into it. Hu
