    Electric Bass Guitar Build

    Thread Starter: Julie Moriarty

My SO wants a bass guitar. And I'm getting bored watching the lacquer cure on the other guitar. :) I took some 1:1 scaled drawings of bass guitars, glued them to 1/4" MDF, and started cutting templates. The neck and back are completed, with the exception of the neck heel. I don't want to cut...

    Official 2015 MLB Thread

Verlander is on the DL. Nathan is also. Porcello with the BoSox. Both Fister and Scherzer throwing for the Senators. That is the closer and 4 starters from 2 years ago; closer and 2 Cy Young starters from last year. What's that mean? Detroit is 8-1 - best record in MLB. Only one run off...

    Track saw attraction???

    Thread Starter: Henry Kramer

I see an awful lot of posts about track saws. I wish that someone would explain the fascination with them because I am not seeing it. I understand that they are primarily used on ripping and cross-cutting sheets of plywood. Now muscling a sheet of plywood onto my table saw is not the most desirable...

    Are carpenters a dying breed?

    Thread Starter: Travis Conner

They don't teach it in school anymore hardly, which makes me wonder if this industry is in high demand. I've always kept this as a hobby, but I've been using power tools since I was 12. I'm 26 now. Is there good money in this industry?

12x30 Workshop About To Become A Reality

    Thread Starter: Steve Kinnaird

I started buying wood working tools about 3 years ago and planned on converting a 12 x 20 ft space in our 1 car garage into a workshop. Well, as we all know plans can change. My son and his 2 kids (our grandchildren) needed a place to stay after his divorce and the garage became an over stuffed...

    NItrogen Tires

another reason is nitrogen molecule is suppose to be slightly bigger than "air" molecule and cannot seep out as easily. I'm not sure I can agree

Using a Shaw Guard on a Shaper

The Shaw guard provides a complete barrier to cutter access, so it's very safe.

I didn't use the stock feeder as I wanted to illustrate

    NItrogen Tires

I have been using it for years and rarely have to top off. Most tire store like Big O, etc. will have nitrogen. You usually have green valve caps on
