    I want to get a new dovetail saw to replace my existing backsaw for dovetail cutting. The current saw is a standard backsaw (Pennsylvania Saw Corporation #78, 12ppi, 12" long, 3" deep).     Dumb Question re: weight

    I have a 6040 Weike laser arriving in a couple of days. Because I have a door too small to bring the laser through, I have to remove a 4x6 window and bring the laser through that. With that said, the window is 33" off the ground and my intention is to uncrate the laser in the bed of my pick up...

    Sharp chisels yes! But not at the end, on the sides. I'm just wondering how many here have been cut up by the edges of their chisels? And does anyone purposely dull the side edges to prevent this? Jeff (with a slice on his index finger!)

    I was cutting a small piece of wood and before I knew it the blade was below the table and I had a small cut on my thumb. Don't even know exactly how everything happened. While the piece was small, I'd made the same cut many times before. Anyway, just a nick, bit of blood and a ruined...
