    Upside down receptacles?

    Thread Starter: Ole Anderson

In my wife's hospital room a few weeks ago I noticed these receptacles: I was always taught that the ground plug should be on the bottom. To me any other way just looks wrong. Hospitals often require one of the highest level of commercial work. 12 outlets and none of them being used! Please...

    saw plates old VS new

    Thread Starter: Zahid Naqvi

I am very frugal when it comes to woodworking tools, purely functional when it comes to tool choices with no regard for brand names. Thread Starter: Nick Coffelt

Hello, I'm curious what everyone's thoughts are for the best cabinet table saw for under $2,000. My requirements are mostly general and begginning to intermediate wood working. I enjoy making furniture (nothing overly complex) and cut a lot of rough saw stuff (have a lot of trees that I have...

Opinion of the Powermatic 3 or 5 hp shaper please

    Thread Starter: Dan Chouinard

I think it may be time to step up from router table to shaper. Primarily will be used for making door parts. Router table has served me well but look forward to using a power feeder. Want to buy new machine. Does powermatic make a good shaper? Should I get 3 or 5 hp? Thanks
