About Charles Randal Smith
- Biography:
- About the time our children came along, my wife told me to get a hobby. Thinking it would be neat to make some furniture for small people, I started with a table saw and a pile of ignorance. With time I shifted to Arts & Crafts furniture, while restoring our 1855 farmhouse. When I retired, I decided to start felling trees from the back forest, and make furniture with my own wood. When i bought a sawmill, things got out of hand and now I spend much of my time felling the trees which need to be removed and turning them into lumber. The big limbs become fodder for my Robust lathe.
