John, you list your location as Central, KY. Is that Central City, KY? I'm planning on visiting my relatives around Owensboro and would love to stop by for a short visit, maybe around May 31 as we head home to TX. Let me know if I've got your location correct and if this is a possibility?

I went ahead and threw $10 as a contributor because this is the rabbit hole that really got me hooked. You would do better looking for me elsewhere as I'm not going to hang out here. Too many other things I can be doing as well as woodturning. mj

John if your self portrait bowl looks like you congratulations! I interpret the grain and color variation as the lessons learned from standing and swaying with lifes storms and calms. The voids and holes as scars from putting yourself out there, winning a few while losing a few. The shape and form simple with elegant lift yet sturdy with alot of usable life left in it. I hope to make a self portrait piece as expressive some day. Keep on pursuing you passion...after all that's the spice of our lives.

John thanks so much. That is exactly what I had in mind but wanted to mount the short side to the wall so I would have L shape worktable and double as the outfeed table for my protable table saw. Could not see how you hinged it. Also where might I find some plans
