  1. Hey Scott,
I did end up putting in a neutral vane & cutting the ctr tube off in the cyclone. The 3 hp powermatic works fine & it all empties into a 55 gal drum. my e-mail address is mjbachler@centurytel.net let me know if you'd like me to send you some pictures of it.

    Take care,
    Mark

    Mark,

I saw on this old post that you own one of the cyclones sold by cycloneseparators and are using a 3HP Powermatic DC. I recently picked up a PM75 and am considering picking up one of these separators. Since that thread is 3 years old I was wondering how your experience has been with it in that timeframe and would you recommend it again?

My PM75 sits in a small attached room which vents to the outside so I am mainly focused on chip collection so I don't have to cleanout the bags that often and keep my CFM up.

    Thanks for your time,

    -Scott
