Jim, Same boat as joe Just got myself a used 34-338 and im putting it through its paces.

I'm looking to see how that arbor bearing replacement went. My saw is running pretty good but i think its about time for the bearing replacement.

I already did the link belt but the blade does wobble a bit. I can really notice it when it slows down but not when it is up and i wiggle it.

    How did the replacement go?

    Jim,
I saw your post on Sawmill Creek (of which I am a member) when I googled Rockwell/Delta 34-338. When you refurbed your dad's awhile back, how much trouble was it to replace the arbor bearings? I bought mine used in 1977 and the bearings have finally given up. Can they be replaced without removing the top? Sure hate to have to do that; no help and I know it's heavy.
I sure would appreciate any insight you can give as this is my only table saw and hate to be without it for long.
    Thanks much.

    joe
