    Hi Jeff,

Are you still in the wood business? I am looking for 2-3 large boxes of mainly bowl making material. Somewhere in the 6-12" or larger dia. size. Looking for maple, either plain, spalted, or figured, and any other woods, or burls especially with spalting or figured. Please let me know as time allows.

Hope all is going well for you,
    Ray
  3. I would be interested in your bit holder. Have you ever used a spiral up router bit? I also would like your web address when you reopen.

Hello Jeff, My name is Thad Nickoley. Mike Burr told me that I should contact you to see about a steady rest for my Jet Mini. I just received my sn2 and I want to teach myself to turn small vessels, mainly small urns. Thank you for your time

    Jeff,

Just ordered a 3520B and was wondering what your tool rests cost? They seem to have lots of fans, but I am not sure what sizes, options, or costs are available.

    Thanks

    Joel

Hey Jeff, I just got a forward from John our banjo player where you were asking about the band. Man we have been busy, its alot of fun but it sure takes me away from the shop!! I havent dont much turning or anything else for that matter in quite some time. Having been a contractor for 25 years, due to the economy I had to take a "real job" and now that Im working full time and still playing in the band theres just no time left for much anything else.
John mentioned to you that we were possibly going to have a live recording done. If it works out it will take place this coming weekend. Theres alot that goes into one of those as you can imagine but were going to give it a try. If anything comes of it I will be sure and send you a copy of it, I really appreciate the positive feedback and maybe if I get some shop time soon I'll start hanging around the creek more often. I miss it here!!

    Take care,

    Jim

Jeff, I am interested in a steady for a Jet 1642. Probably 4 welded brackets and one clip that I could position at will. I know you are cutting back production to be able to do more other work, so I hope you can fit this in. What kind of price, time would we be talking? I have a OneWay spindle steady that I bought for my 1220 and am not happy with it and would rather buy something better for the 1642. ( I changed the 1 1/4" wide skate wheels for roller blade wheels on the OneWay, but that does not help it much. )
