Worktables

by Jim Rimmer on 05-05-2009 at 9:16 PM
Several years ago I purchased a used workbench at a high school auction. Many schools shut down their industrial arts departments and sold off the equipment. Most of the equipmetn is big and 220V. But, I got a 5.5' x 4.75' two inch thick maple work bench with two sliding vises for $250. So, if you are looking for a shop table (or large machines) check the classifieds for school auctions.

I don't know how to select a category for the blog. Any help?
