Yes! I ordered 4 from the Mallory link you provided. The order has yet to ship but looking forward to having a couple of filters in reserve. Thank...

    Hi Kathy,
I think it was you who asked about the high prices of carbide turning tools. Here is a little something to go with your new lathe. This person has a fair line-up of turning accessories. You can access all of them from this web address. I have no affiliation with this web-site or person. Just thought I would show you that carbide tools do not have to be in the $150.00 range. Lloyd

Kathy good morning. I have been following your posts and I am interested in your 50/50 water soap. After you have done this have you used any dyes and do they take well after you have done this.
    Thanks Ron

Ok Kathy I hear you are the wood guru. Scott Hackler told me that. I am in Tucson and traveling through and was looking for a wood source in this area. I have a source for mesquite burls, Tucomcorri Sawmill. Art at the sawmill has gotten higher in price and I would like Acacia and or Sosoo wood. Do you know of any source in the Tucson Area Thanks Ronald Campbell Campbelnye@gmail.com

My wife is taking me on vacation to Lake Havasu, meaning I will not be able to turn for a week. Any suggestion on things to do there, no I do not play golf.

Hi Kathy, I saw your message but cant find it now. I don't know my way around WTA that well. I believe you proposed 15 Oct for a visit? If so, I will be out of town that weekend. This weekend is good for me. I am perfectly willing to come to you if you'd like. Just let me know a good time. I can scout for some wood while I'm in your area. Barry

Hey Kathy, I was wondering if you get any of your wood from the city of Phoenix during the monsoon season. I found where they stage the stuff here in Tucson, and got permission to collect wood when they have wood. It's staged there until they get a big truck load, and the they send it to the dump.
What end of Phoenix do you live? Just curious. ..... Jerry (in Tucson)
