  1. Oh, and check the thread -- I posted a bunch more contractor models and even stumbled upon a General Cabinet saw for $800 that's not too far.
  2. Thanks, James. I don't mind offending, as I can always wait around some more. I think my haggling skills are decent and plan to track how long postings have been up as an unspoken leveraging point. If I know they've had this thing listed for a month... I'll definitely be more aggressive. Right now, though, I need to employ my primary haggling skills with my wife She's really uncomfortable with me spending much more than $200, so that's an issue. I'm considering selling a handgun and 0.22 conversion kit I have for it. That could get me into the right range when added to her allowed $200

    Thanks for the support,
    John

    Hi John,

It sounds like you know which one to go after. If you have good haggling skills. I would try to get that nice newer uni for $450-$500. But even at $600. It would be a done deal and your TS whose will be done with. That said you have tipped off lots of woodworker here on the Creek to a very good uni deal. So if you think you have the cash to do the deal. Run don't walk! You can try to offer $450 and if it seems like you offended. You can use another email address to offer $500. By the way if the fence is too long for you. You can always cut it down.

I would stay away from the three phase one. Since a good 3hp single phase will be expensive. Those are the two nicest deals in my opinion but the three phase kills one of them. Unless you have three phase coming into you house.

    James
