Saw your post and maybe we can save you some money and time. We offer 3, 6 and 12mm Genuine Baltic Birch plywood cut down to just under 12" x 24" sheets which are great for the laser Buzz Tributes and ornaments. We wrap them in kraft paper to minimize humidity and then wrap it in card board to ship. You can open the box, pull out a sheet and place it on your laser. It's that easy.
We use B/BB 3mm Baltic Birch plywood and sell it in boxes of 25 sheets (approx. 50sqft). A box is only $45.00 plus shipping. To get a quote just send me your ship to address, is it a residential address or business/commercial and how many boxes you are interested in. For B/BB 6mm (1/4") we offer the same size and quantity of 25 sheets for only $60.00 plus shipping. This is what we keep in stock.
We also use Paypal for quick secure transactions. We can also cut to size for a small up charge. Please let me know if you need vertical or horizontal grain or it does not matter.

I did make one and it works fairly well for what I was doing. I have a Trotec with a 28.2 x 16.5 table and how you orient it will probably be different than mine but if you send me your phone that I can call you on during the day, if that is convenient, I would be happy to kinda walk you through it. We could share some ideas also. Don't worry it doesn't cost me anything extra for long distance calls. (20.00 a month flat rate) I will be going to Austin in the AM to the NBM show to see the new stuff and talk with some of the laser guys but will be back for Friday. Thanks,
