I finally bought one a few month ago. Now I'm waiting for it to go on sale again to get another.
It has long been my favorite mid-sized router (never used a Festool) until I laid hands on the MRC23, everything the 1617 is and so much more. It is hard to beat the 1617 at the price point though! Enjoy it!
Like everyone else said, it's a great router...I have 3 of them, although one I use primarily in my router table:)
