What a great accomplishment! Now your new goal is to go in for a $10 part and come out with only the $10 part! :D
That's sick--just sick! You are making the rest of us look very, very weak!
Kent, once you can do that at Lee Valley and Felder as well, you're cured!:D
Regards, Rod.
Maybe you can develop a 12 step program!
I have the same problem no only at tools stores but at HD, Lowes, grocery store, sporting goods stores. It seems like it is always a $100 min.
I did - that's exactly my problem!! Recently completed Step 9:
1. Adjust mouth block plane
2. Med shoulder plane
3. LA smoothing plane
4. LA rabbet block plane
5. Brass #3
6. sm chisel plane
7. Mortise chisel set
8. LA jack plane
9. #71 router plane
I'll let you guess the brand name.........
I can do it at woodcraft all the time, of course that's because the service is horrible unless you are looking at festool products or lathes.
I hate giving up on the local retailer, but I'm done.
