Thanks, Marc, for these videos. They're definitely eye-openers. There are ways to make money in woodworking if one lowers their expectations and doesn't mind supressing their wishes in favor of their customer's, saving their wishes for their own projects, and takes jobs one feels is below their skill level.
Ahaha! I came across those videos years ago and forgot about them. So hilarious and hits close to home for me. I have an internal debate with myself about this stuff that characterizes both of those guys back and forth.

I didn't watch all of it but what I saw i can say the mistake this guy is making is "quitting his day job".
A dream chased in reality, even if not achieved, is far better than one chased in ones head.
In the end we all have to eat.
