finish and size...
Yes,I guess it is a form of segmenting..And yeah,you cut apart a single board and glue it up..It took the same amount of wood to make the bowl as it did to make the lid.
It measures 8 in diameter by 5 1/2 high.The finish is tru oil.

Very nice piece. Form is great and the finish is excellent. Where are the segments of the bottom? It is hard to see from your picture? Share your finish with us also.
