Spare Banjo for 3520
I want to get a replacement banjo for my 3520 and was looking at Oneway. but im thinking the banjo for the 1640 is the right one. Its the same hight as the one for the original 3520..
So looking for information on the overall length of the 1640 banjo, and if all myt 3520 fitted toolrests will fit?
Any advice and/or information is very welcome.

Rasmus - send a PM to Jack Mincey as I know he owns a Oneway 1640. Pretty sure he uses Powermatic 3520s at his school - so should be able to help you out with info.

Hi, I had to delete some messages from my PM box a few weeks ago and yours was deleted by accident. Glad you bumped it back to the forum. I just measured my banjo on my 1640. It is 18" long the same as the outboard banjo so that it can be used for a 24" swing on the outboard. The locking nut is just a touch over 4 1/2" off the bed with an overall height of 5 3/4". The 1" hole bottoms out at around 4 3/8" from the top of the banjo. I use both the PM and the 1640 like the banjo of the 1640 better. It is lighter in weight so that it is easier to move around, but locks up more secure than the PM. The tool post is locked up much more secure on the OneWay than is the PM's tool post.
Good Luck,
Jack

Bob Hamilton is the one to ask. He is the one that got me onto it. He has had one on his DVR XP for a while now. I will say they lock down and stay put for sure. I would say the banjo for the 2016 or 2036 would fit your lathe.
