I made this piece for my brother as a thank you for allowing myself and a few of my friends to set up a bandmill and lumber storage shed on his property.
The Maple in this table is from wood we milled ourselves. The legs are Walnut which I needed to purchase.

John -- The pattern in the wood really is quite impressive and the simplicity of the design really lets you focus on the wood and the live edge. I'm curious, how did you attach the end of the stretcher to the stretcher between the legs? Mortise and tenon or dowels or ?

All of the joints for this table are mortise and tenon, also beneath the top but unseen in the pic is another stretcher connecting the leg structure it as well is held to cross members with mortise and tenon joints. The slab is floating or suspended on 4 turned walnut supports that are imbedded into the upper cross members.
