Hello all,
Happy Holidays. I am looking for a set of plans for a miter saw station that is not a mobile type. I happened across one late the other night on the internet and I cannot remember where I saw it. It was made out of 3/4 plywood. Can anybody out there help?

There's a Miter Saw Stand in the October 2007 issue of Popular Woodworking. It's not fancy, but it might meet your needs. There's a bit of info here.
Have you checked the Wood Magazine Store? They have a few to choose from, but I'm not sure if they're what you're looking for.
Finally, you've always got Norm's Miter Bench and Storage project.

I did not build it, opting for a mobile station with fold down wings from a Woodsmith plan.

John, the design I used had some nice advantages for lumber storage since it has no legs to hinder that resource under it. It's a little more involved than some designs, but has been worth it for me since I did it. The one change I would make if I were building it today would be to put a couple drawers in the face for storage. This could be done without compromising strength with a little thought through the design.
