Although pricey it looks like a nice tool.

Wanted to, but then I thought about how often I actually need to draw or mark a center line down the edge of a board and couldnt justify the cost of it as I rarely do that.
You can easily make a useful tool for nothing by drilling 3 holes in a hunk of wood, and use 2 short pieces of dowel, and a pencil.
The neat part is the tenon jig. Its a calibrated offset. Want a centered 1/2" tenon marked? Set the gauge to 1/2" and mark one line, turn it around and mark the other now you have 2 exact marks 1/2" apart centered on the board.
Then I found the very popular Rockler solution on sale: LINK
Frankie,
I have the older model of the center scribe that is brass and rosewood. I use it fairly often, mainly because it works so well. Don't use it every day but often enough to appreciate it's precision. I don't have the tenon accessory.....I don't remember it being offered when I bought the original center scribe.

Yes, I pre-ordered it with the tenon attachment. Bridge City makes such incredibly nicely built tools, and this seems like it would allow for rapid and very accurate centering, couldn't resist.
