Jelly fish
This is the third of what I suppose is a series. The first two were maple with persimmon legs, this one is sweet gum burl and holly. It is basically an upside down hollow form with an unusual support. Overall height is just under 10 inches, comments and critiques welcome.

Very nice and interesting.

Unusual but very nicely done, I like it.

Super piece as usual for you. Where did you find a SG burl. In my many years in the woods I have only found one.

That's really cool. I love it when I see new ideas.

Really love the imagination in this Dennis! If I could offer one suggestion, it would be to have the tentacles the same sheen as the form. The high gloss gives the illusion of being wet and it only makes sense that would apply to the entire 'creature'. Looking forward to seeing where this series takes you!

Agree with Steve and by no means a criticism. Definitely thinking outside the box here. Love it !

Pretty cool imagination Dennis. Very pretty piece of wood.

Dennis, you have a very unique turning there, I love how it looks. I would like to see the underside though, I'm interested in seeing how you attached the tenticles and finished it.
