Any comparable apps to Sketchup for Linux?

I am a Linux user for the most part, and while I can run Windows in a VM, or dual boot, I would like to natively run a 3D modelling program in my native OS. Does anyone here have any suggestions for a native Sketchup like app for Linux? (RHEL 6 specifically).

I know that Inkscape does 2D vector drawings - but does it do 3D modeling as well?

I've never managed to make Sketchup work in WINE. YMMV.

Subscribing to this one, as I haven't had much luck with Cutlist under wine, so never went the Sketchup route.

Take a look at the winehq link posted above. People are getting SketchUp to work on WINE, but it isn't exactly a straightforward endeavor.

The only issue I can see, is, it is a 32bit version only (at least the .deb version is) although it can be installed on 64 Ubuntu/Mint and no doubt Debian.

Installed FreeCad the other day... looks like it might be promising.. haven't used it a ton just yet though..
