Do you stand on the workbench to reach the big stuff (looked like 4/4 long) on top?

Thanks Andrew!!!! I have taken your pics seriously and look more like what I am actually looking for since I have limited wall space for wood storage. Maybe 1,800 sq ft of shop is NOT large enough after all!! ;)

Btw, I got the design from a wood magazine issue.

Which issue? I have been subscribing to Wood Magazine since the mid 1980's.....I just might have it. ;)

It's not finished yet but here it is. It is attached to the trusses. It will have Vertical Plywood Storage on the left side in front. <p>
The area behind the plywood will be a counter and shelves but will hold shorter wood if I develop enough shelves elsewhere in the shop.

That's alot of rack. Lot of work, but well worth it. I wish I had room for one like that. Someday.
