Cutting Board Designs
Back on Sawmill Creek ---- long time ago was on as "Betsy" but could not get my account to work and got frustrated :( ---- soooo I'm on as "Elizabeth" - call me "Liz" I'll come hunt you down!!!!
Anyway ---- I'm trying to get back in the swing of things and would like to make cutting boards for some friends. I've seen the Woodwhisper's design and like it very much. However, I'd like to have some other designs for endgrain boards. I'm not to talented in the design area so I need plans to go with. Any help would be appreciated.
Glad to be back on the Creek!:D

It is really not that hard to design a cutting board.
What I do is to cut up some wood, some dark wood and some light wood and then start laying it out.
Just lay it out in a pattern and see where it goes.
2 light
1 dark
3 light
1 dark
1 light
1 dark
3 light
1 dark
2 light
Or something like that.
You can also vary the width of the board your use, I go down to 1/8 of an inch on some. You can also off set the boards as you do your last glue up.
