Need new lacquer

I have been using watco lacquer in various finish types ( gloss, s/g and satin) on different pieces of work for some time now... I was introduced to it some time ago and albeit very strong scented, I found it wonderful and time friendly to work with... however it has been discontinued in the 1 gallon jugs. I was paying approx $56 Canadian for 1 gallon before... buying the equivalent in quarts is just not an option as it would cost well over $90 after taxes.... are there any recommendations for a similar product that might be comparable in cost as well?
