I was looking at a pic of a HF with a collar just yesterday and wondering what was a good method of making one. Now I know. Thread saved. Thank you Travis.
Wonderful tutorial, and with pics! Thanks, Phil
Travis
very well done explanation for an outstanding result.
In additon the mixing of woods does increase the "lightness" of the bowl shape.
Most EXCELLENT Travis...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I know a bit more about collar work. Thanks buddy. I appreciate all the effort it took to put this together. :D
Oh Shelley, you have one foot on the slope and another about to find the banana peel. Come on in to the vortex, you'll enjoy it.
Got yah Travis. Thanks!
Corey

Don't fight it, Shelly. You're starting to sound suspiciously like Tyler, and we all know how much good all that resistance did him. :D

shelley, don`t try and cry foul just `cause i stated the obvious.....try and remember i`m the guy who spins stuff to augment flat work not instead of it.....sure we`re buddys but you`ve gotta admit that with the amount of time you spend over here on the dizzy side that a bleach job may very well be in your near future:) . it ain`t so bad look at frank now:rolleyes: .02 todQuote:
