Craftsman lathe 1 or 2 MT?
I have an old Craftsman wood lathe (model 113.228360) that was given to me when I was a teen. (Now in my late 30’s) Parts are available from Sears but expensive and so is shipping. All I need is a drive center. How can I tell if it is a number 1MT?? My other lathe is#2mt and the shaft is too fat to even fit in the hole. I would assume it is a number 1MT but you know Sears. It could just be an odd size they made up them selves. Is a number 1MT smaller in size or is the difference just in the taper itself?
