If you think you have to apologize for those dovetails, you've never seen mine. Mine usually look like they were made by a beaver.
I've got a couple of these. I really liked them for a while, but you have to balance them very carefully. I stopped using them because of the extra clearance required for the height of the chuck, and...
Nicely done!
Just bought a Beal Tiltbox. This thing is AWESOME! Miters have never been so easy.
Last year I finished using the FastenMaster IQ hidden fastening system to put Trex on my new deck. I chose FastenMaster IQ because it was listed on the Trex website, and the system looked easy to...
It may or may not be better. The skill of the sharpener has a lot to do with it.
That being said, the best sharpening system is the one that you will use. As we all know, dull tools are more...
I bought one a few weeks ago but haven't tried it yet. I'm planning on using Target Coatings water-based spray lacquer and HybriVar.
The easiest way is definitely Dresdner's idea... I used a pipe floor flange and 24" section of 1.5" pipe, which fits nicely inside a 2" pipe and another floor flange. Each flange is connected to a...
Well, I think I mean that it will give better atomization to a wider variety of finishes, with more control over the fan pattern. Overall, this means more control therefore a better overall result....
The guys over at Target Coatings are a little wary of this unit, they recommend spending the money on a mid-size compressor and HLVP gun like the Asturo ECO/SX.
I don't know. If you add up the...
I just bought one of these units from Woodcraft.
I will post after I get a chance to try it out. I'm a spraying newbie, so not really sure what kind of results I'm going to get.
I plan to try 3...
Gary, other posters are right on target as far as using higher grits. I don't use Scary Sharp, I use waterstones (Shapton). But I've tried SS and it only worked for me when I went up to 1500 grit...
Bought mine yesterday at Woodcraft for $299. Hopefully I'll get to try it out this weekend.
Anther excellent video Marc.
I've watched every one since I discovered your site about 6 months ago (around the time you did Episode 5 or 6.), or maybe it was longer....
Eric
nice job! How heavy is that thing?
Apparently that doesn't apply to all images, only some?
I still can't see the pics.
Can anyone explain why some of us have an access problem?
Whoa.........nice...... those curves remind me of this girl I dated this one time in........ never mind.
Actually, the pressure radiates at a factor of 5.68 degrees per point of flexibility quotient of the material, which is then divided by the sum of the tangential silliness, then take the integral of...
I think the take-away message for me was "don't worry about it". I've always been worried about putting too much pressure on and starving the joint. After reading the article, I said to myself,...
Where did you find all the models? I haven't looked around that much, but I love SketchUp.
Sweet!!!
Oh, and the bench is nice too :)
Well done!
Nice work! Very good looking finish too!
Thanks for the replies, guys!
I went ahead and installed the FastenMaster IQ (actually, I'm only about 2/3 done so far). I posted in another thread about this, there is a little bit of a squeaking...
