You sound incredulous - those stops fit onto multiple fences I made, and are plenty sturdy - with no play in the flip stop. I've since made a couple more with different angles on the reference face...
A far more mundane version - more wood and less metal (1/4" steel pivot rod)...

I'm pretty sure (but not 100% positive) that is the Great Wall of China - it is visible again at the very end... maybe illuminated by a rising/setting sun?

What good does anything on Facebook do? If 10,000 people Like something - does that mean it's...
I really like the set screws on LV planes. You don't clamp the blade with them, tighten them so them contact the blade, then back off just a hair. They make it easy to take out the blade for honing,...
I've only done this with veneer - I don't think it would work very well with thicker pieces. There would be most likely be warping issues...
The sand is fairly hot - I learned from Paul Schurch, ...
Even with just a few parameters, it is highly UN-likely that two snowflakes have ever been - or ever will be - exactly the same. However, examining all of them will never happen (think of all the...
I have a door dimensions Excel spreadsheet posted on my website - http://home.roadrunner.com/~jeffnann/WoodWorking/Shop/Doors2.xls
There is also another fairly popular spreadsheet by Roger Medbery...
Barcode apps often also read QR codes. I'm using the Android app "Barcode Scanner" by ZXing (free) which reads qrcodes..
There are hinges that can move 270 deg - euro-style door hinges, and some for entertainment center "flipper" doors. It looks like most are made for 3/4" material - maybe you could find some designed...
I'm not quite sure what your 2nd drawing shows...
Your piano hinge will only rotate 180 deg. The bare hinge can rotate further - but once you attach it to pieces of wood, rotation will be limited...
Have you worked out how both hinged pieces will move when opening them? Opening the whole top like you've described sounds a little awkward. Have you considered having the two lids be separate, the...
Processor speed is just not an issue for PCs these days. Even gaming makes its largest demands of the video processor. Unless you do large photo editing, video processing, or some other heavy duty...
Fine Woodworking (Winter 2012 #223) just did a head-to-head comparison of spiral vs. straight blades for planers and jointers - and they judged spiral to be significantly better. The cutters are...
I'm making a bunch of these, so really wanted to find a reliable solution. And it was there - amongst all the suggestions. Thanks!
I was very reluctant to attempt climb cutting on the router table...
I'm making some parts using a router template. But I'm having trouble going around some tight curves on end grain - the diameter of the end semi-circles is 1 inch. The routed surface is very good on...
Here's why you're having trouble... this is not a good application of vacuum clamping. Vacuum presses work really well for larger panels, but your bent lamination piece is relatively tall and skinny....
There is a lot of garbage around when it comes to HP ratings - the numbers on routers and shop vacs are all lies. (My webpage documenting all these shenanigans.) However, the ratings on induction...
I've used the Delphiforfun free cutlist program for years. It works quite well, and it's free. I suspect that your real problem is Windows Vista, fortunately I avoided that sorry excuse of an...

Depends on the context - a couple is two people, but a couple of minutes is much less specific.
