I just did this. Built cabinet/face frame then veenered. Used iron on, probably mistake.
All looked good till I sprayed lacquer. It bubbled up in multiple locations. Had to slit & yellow glue...
I think I would do more than a few with the aluminum, to see how many of those need "adjustments".
I drive an hr & half to L.L. Johnson to get Alder. They give you a break if you get at least...
I would get it sharpened. It will cost the fraction of a new one & should be better than new ( slightly lighter ,sharper than new ). Take in some blades while your at it.
Blum, never had a problem
I like mine, I've had it since 2001 . I haven't broken anything on it & I work it pretty hard at times.
Steel city had their version with spiral head. Cutech now markets a similar machine that...
Not an expert , but I will throw a out a couple guesses.
I'll say your right about prefinished.
SF could mean sanded face.
C grade plywood is a rougher grade so I will say MR is Maple...
The base is 19 3/8" wide x 14" deep. Thanks for asking Bruce.
I need a mobile base for my Delta 37-220 Jointer, What are your guy's using ? I have a Delta on my unisaw that I like. Maybee modify the Delta bandsaw mobile base ?
Not really into universal...
I also have one. I've had it for 15 trouble free years. I have never needed to replace any parts on it, even though I have worked it pretty hard for the last five years.
Rigid no longer carries...
I got the 630 Grex. Works great, plenty of power. Paid $ 149 free shipping from the nailgun depot. I got it in 2 days too.
Thanks guy's , looks like its going to be a Grex
I am a finish carpenter that uses a 23 gauge pin nailer quite a bit. I am really frustrated with my senco ( i belive it's a finishpro10 ). It frequently jambs and I don't care for the slide magazine....
I have used scrap romex for bunch of other uses. It makes a great temporary bunge's cord, cut off section to use as caulk poker ( I wrap a section on my caulk gun )
I forgo the math and give it about 2-3 strokes with a hand plane, eyeballing the angle.
I tape both sides, being very careful of the amount of glue I use at the profile. q tip works good at profile
I am in the same boat, I have too much work to stop & do stuff to make my shop more efficient. I like your roll of paper at the end. Does it have a blade at the end ?
I also preprime. I usually roll the whole sheet first, rip to size, sand, prime again, sand & then assemble. It really helps in the the small area that are hard to reach.
Scott, My wife was also sick around Christmas. A little less severe but, still on the scary side. Thanks for posting your sawyer adventures, I really find it interesting.
I guess I am in the minority but, If it has never been used & has no problems $ 1200 is a great price. I've seen a lot of used for this same $. Includes a Biesmeyer fence & mobile stand too.
I don't know if I can solve your problem but, I will tell you how I find my drawer length. I attach locking device to slide, measure from it to 1/4" into rear tab.
Not exactly answering your question but, I always thought lumber yards should have a dry erase board with either current $ of an 8' stud, 1/2" osb etc. Some people have no idea how cheap some...
I would just add 1/4" to back of face frame. I redid my inlaws existing cabinets a month ago. It was a lot of work, I made new doors for the whole kitchen. I used the biggest overlay hinge I could...
I did the same as Mike & used wood screw to mount the new base to the saw. The base is in a Delta mobile base.
The wood gizmo is my new base to exit the sawdust without cutting into sheet metal, the boot off my wifes spare tire carrier fit both the blade guard & the 2' pvc. that goes to a vacuum attachment...
