Yep. Mine was among the first batch too but I never had any problem with any of my other Festool sanders so I did not even think about testing until I saw one of the video on Youtube about the sander...

Great. Now turn it on and make sure it is not jumpy or jerky out of the box like mine. I sent mine to Festool 2 weeks ago for repair and should get it back tomorrow or Monday.
