That is great. I am still debating a lathe and what kind. I don't have 220 so it'll have to be 110, but do what I want it to.
Guess I will bark in also. I will say that from time to time cutting up and having a laugh is good in forums. Laughter is a good healing tool, but I will say and don't let my join date fool you....
Been a long time since I set mine up and took it back down to sell it, but do you have attached (rubber) feet on the bottom of your grinder. I did and had to remove them to make it all fit right.
Rubbing alcohol should work I would think. Same stuff they give you at the doc to clean them with.
Can't tell you much about other tools because I have a few Ridgid also including the old 3650 tablesaw. I do know they are suppose to put out a new cast iron top saw. I believe it is another hybrid...
Count me in.
I like the part where they got it to the bank and the guy was standing under it as if to be holding it up incase the cables broke. All I could see was squashed bug.
Please count me in.
what about cross way, like on book shelves?
Count me in please
harbor freight has one for 20 bucks which others have said works well. I don't know personally.
There is also an email floating around from Woodcraft for free shipping on all orders. Ends tomorrow.
Yes edge jointing is what I am referring to.
Anyone joint on a planer? Or would it just be easier to joint on a tablesaw? I realize a jig of some sort would be needed on the tablesaw, but can't seem to grasp doing it on a planer, but have read...
Have decided not to post what I was going to say.
Can't help on all the others, but whitewood even though I don't what it is can be found at any lowes or home depot and is really inexpensive. Cheaper then the pine they have.
Thanks guys. I appreciate you looking for me Ken. I just found out on the Ridgid forum the problem is that some of the arbors do not have threads all the way down them. I haven't checked, but there...
I have read the same Joe. I know the early models for sure, but I believe those made after 2007 were fixed, but I am not sure. I still googling to death trying to find out and how to read the date...
That would be great Ken, but don't put yourself out any. I just want one and want to be safe about it in the process with good results without breaking the bank.
Can anyone tell me of a dado blade that works best on the Ridgid 3650. I believe and may be wrong, but the arbors are known to be short on the saw. If I am wrong feel free to correct, but I have read...
I am planning on adding 220 to my garage, which will consist of 1 outlet on a dedicated breaker. I know the older stablok federal breakers are not the safest in the world, but that is what's in my...
I will try and get some photos in the next day or two (I'm on the night shift right now).
The wood was a walnut 2 x 4 bowl. The other was dunno wood about 3 1/2 x 5. Thickness was about 3/8 on...
Ok, I am still trying to figure out this whole bowl turning process. I have watched Bill's video and even spoke to him by email.
So.... here is the problem now. For some reason I keep getting...
I type to fast for it. It can't seem to keep.
