In the UK 908ltd. do a starter pack for Marksolid which is one of the Thermark brands for £35 plus postage etc.
This get you a range of samples and a small 70ml aerosol of the Marksolid.

Mine is yellow on black Romark. No matter what the setting the yellow always seems to burn the edges, even with extra tape on.

Matthew, about 2" by 4.5" which makes the text very small. They can't be larger as they sit in a cast pocket on top of the gearbox.

Not engraving but had a guy walk in once with a 25mm diameter bar and wanted a 30mm diameter hole cross drilling into it.
I asked him which half he wanted to keep but it didn't sink in.
