    Have you taken the chuck apart to see if a spring is missing?

    Have you sprayed into it with some lube?

    If you have the (3) jaws it should be just stuck are a missing spring or 2.

    Not a bad saw, very little rust. I found it in the dump.

    $4.85 for diesel 34 gal tank. I try to fill up weekly and not when I get low on fuel.
