Did you try factory rep Master Tool repair,

    http://www.sanborncompressors.com/, "Technical support available" 757-410-2879 or -7822?

One week old? Am I missing something?
  4. Think function - trim router(s) for the constantly repeated

tasks such as 1/8 and 3/16 roundover of stock to illustrate.... to avoid constant changing of bits, each dedicated to that function.

One dedicated to router table because changing back and forth...

Hang on a minute - stain will have no effect on the glue

joint as mentioned, but if the glue is on the surface at all stain will not penetrate the glue and your finish, particularly if relatively dark will have blond spots.

The larger sanders are wonderful but a lot of tools would

be wonderful also - their floor space and cost to me were not justified. Unlike the comment that flipping to the second side was a hassle, I have no problem - it is always set for that and 20" is...
  7. Between the DW and Delta surface thickness planers take

the DW! Check the specs of both and particularly the knives - the speed of cutting RPM, feet/minute and the thickness of the knives.

The planer is rated at down to 1/8" - critical issue that I see...

Att Image v. upload jpeg file - please excuse dumb old me,

but what is the difference between attaching an image (this thread) using the paper clip, and uploading a JPEG file using the Manage Attachments window within the Attach files box border below - same...

HUH? What problem? Did you adjust the eight leveling set

screws that show in the photographs?? There are 8 set screws, in addition to 4 or 6 larger ones from below that can be used as Glenn points out in his note also. Am I missing something?

Sherwin Williams - BUT they might decline to sell

it to you unless you have a business license and appropriate spray booth facilities in order to comply with air quality (VOC) regulations - state and/or federal as might be the case.

    At least that...

    Like Neal says...

representative hinge shown, select specific model for your corresponding door structure.

Also, BB is pretty expensive stuff for cabinet cases (realizing it is on hand), in some minds, overkill;...
  12. Have you checked out the Trend mortise and tenon

jig - ideal for this. I made the Wood magazine three stacking tables identical in concept, using it. Can also use screw in top covered by wood plug re lifting concerns expressed.:o

Al's point is well taken except for one oversight if I may

point it out. I BOUGHT a HF-TYPE joiner once, sold through a major retailer no less and found out the the precision is not all as simple as Al underestimates, with all due respect. The additional...

The brand(s) gun in which a given box of nails will

satisfactorily operate is marked prominently on the box of nails.

While substantially interchangeable there are exceptions - particularly in the 15-16 gauge nails. Do not assume all nails of a...

Dave, your "questioning" is of course well taken, but

I believe the 30" "standard" is more materials and construction convention then any code - 30" gives you 3 pieces from an 8' sheet of material while two nominal 36" (e.g. 30 - 36) simply leave you...

As a former regulatory analyst sort of guy, my perverse

curiosity made me start to look this up. Local building codes and federal reg's are intertwined in long histories of building on one another as precedent in the rule making process (interesting...

Per your note to Danny, these castors - with or without

locks tend to be pretty standard in any decent hardware store - my photo shows lumber rack on wall in back corner like yours. 5" castors seem to be minimum acceptable for stability.

Please note that only one end pops off so that the other

end maintains the necessary rigidity. One end is adequate and necessary to view what is there but more so to avoid lifting sheets - particularly wide ones.

As is probably apparent, my vertical...

    See also, Craig's similar/duplicate post today - but here's

my cart. The 5" rubber castors on slight outriggers seem to handle topple effect quite well. It handles 8' sheets but overhead clearance can be a nuisance in my area; my main situation is lots of...
  22. Well, aside from a facetious remark about any engineer, I

also found the price was as varied as the OEM one-factory label, for sale based on the mood and disposition of the sales rep. There must be a substantial room for markup in these as well, sold from...

Randal and David stated "Milton" - if that name isn't

  25. Well, I hate to depress any imaginary Rockler Engineer,

from glowing in your compliment, but this jig, made in some Chinese factory (thus the name universal, we think :D ) appears identically except for paint color and label in everything from Delta to...
