Thanks for the comments gentelmen I really apreciate it.
What a great looking bowl the curve is perfect not that easy to d. Also I believe that its more art than many give it credit for.
Kathy
Thats such a great piece of wood its nice that you had a corring rig to take advantage of the entire piece. Now the three bowls it would be hard to find any flaws from what I see.
This was a recent hollow form I turnned for the HF trade on Woodturners America. I was partnered with Baxter Smith just thought I'd post some pics and get some feedback. This is what he traded for,...
I'll hopefully see you all on Saturday.
Very impressive hope to see these at TOC

Glad to here that the show was a success.
Looks like a nice variety of turnnings and it sounds
like you had some good sales which is promissing for many.

Congrats Tim
I'm liking this one alot Bob gotta love the spalted maple. The detail is very clean and sharp not always so easy on partially decaying wood. Nice job.
Thanks Jeff and Wally I agree this one will be the keeper.
Kathy , don't let this get you down, you know this stuff grows on trees! Chuck up another piece and take it for a spin.
John, this is a beautiful box greatly enhanced by the time and effort spent on a great finish. Everything else has already been said.
Here's a revised one not yet dyed a bit taller 2 7/8" H and much thinner 5/32" D at the base of the finial. Overal dimmensions 11 7/8" H now still needs to be dyed but thought I'd see what you think?...
Love the bowl Bob. Can't wait to finish a couple in that range from my cherry stash just wondering if the DVR can handle it.
Great job on this one love everything about it.
Jack These are all first rate. I really am partial to the spalted ones with the last #5 being my favorite. With #4 a very close 2nd did I say I like spalted wood .
Tim thats one beautiful turnning. I like mike am in the how dare camp. But, this dye job is one to die for. I love the overall look, it sure is a different aproach with the void at the rim area. I...
Jeff
